All math games

Every game on MathGym, sorted by skill. Each one is free, opens in one tap and has a printable worksheet.

How the games are organized

The games are sorted the way school teaches math: first the facts (times tables, number bonds, sums within 10 and 20), then the written methods (regrouping in addition and subtraction, long division), then the grade pages that tie it all together. Every page trains one skill, so a round of 10 questions never jumps from the 3 times table to fractions.

Six kinds of game, one set of problems

The same problems come in different games. The trainer asks one question at a time with four answer buttons (for the youngest) or a keypad. The speed test gives 60 seconds and remembers your best score. In the gates runner a crowd runs through the gate with the right result and breaks walls at the end. Memory pairs match "7 × 8" with "56", and Make 10 asks for two numbers that add up to ten. The test at the end of each skill gives a printable diploma for 18 or more right out of 20.

Where to start

For a child who is just starting school, try Within 10 or Kindergarten. For 2nd graders, Within 100 and Addition with regrouping. For 3rd and 4th graders the times tables are the big job: start with 2, 5 and 10, then 3, 4 and 8, and finish with 6, 7 and 9. If you don't know the grade topics, the grade pages list them.

Free, without accounts or ads in the game

None of the games needs a login, and nothing is sold inside them. Stars, records and the list of facts to work on are kept in this browser only, so a child can come back tomorrow and pick up where they stopped. If you share a device, the help page shows how to delete the progress.
