Free math games for the classroom, without pupil accounts

MathGym is built to be used in class with no setup. There are no pupil accounts to create, no logins to hand out and no data to manage: open a page, press Play, and the game runs on the whiteboard, on Chromebooks or on tablets. Every game is free, has no ads inside it, and covers one skill of the Common Core from kindergarten to 5th grade, so it fits the lesson of the day.

Using projector mode for whole-class practice

Projector mode turns any game into a whole-class activity. The question fills the screen in high contrast, the four answers are numbered 1 to 4 and pupils call out or show the number with their fingers. Two score buttons keep track of Team A and Team B, and there is no timer unless you want one. It works well as a five-minute warm-up: one round of the mixed times tables, one of the within-20 facts, and the class is ready.

Stations and centers

For math centers, open a game on each device and choose the mode per group: the speed test for pupils who want a challenge, the trainer for steady practice, the gates runner as a reward. The printable board games (Race to 20, Race to 100, multiplication four in a row and bingo) give paper stations next to the screens.

Homework with a share link

The share link maker creates a URL with your settings - for example the 6, 7 and 8 times tables, 20 questions, a 60-second timer - and a QR code for the board or the class newsletter. Pupils at home get exactly that game. By design nothing comes back: no scores are collected and no names are entered, so the link is safe to share with families. Pupils can print their own "work on these" sheet at the end.

Worksheets for a class

The generator prints up to four versions of a sheet with the same skill and different numbers, each with an answer key, on Letter or A4. Neighbors can't copy, and you can reuse the skill next week with new problems.

Privacy for schools

The site sets no cookies, has no accounts and stores progress only in the browser of each device. Analytics are cookie-less and count page views only. Details are on the privacy page.
